Snippets from Scotland

I'll be studying in Scotland for a semester. I like rain puddles, taking pictures, and mail. I think it'll be a good fit.

Edinburgh is a marvelous place, and best of all, it’s an easy destination for a day trip from Stirling.  Being a typical college student, free attractions are always appreciated, and Edinburgh did not fail in offering some excellent no-cost options. The National Museum of Scotland, St. Giles’ Cathedral, and the Royal Botanic Gardens all get my recommendation after a day spent wandering through some of the things they have to offer.

Highlights include: The architecture of the National Museum making it a truly fun place to explore, an afternoon dessert in the basement of St. Giles’, the view walking down Dundas Street, beauty in the gardens, photo opportunities every time you turn around, and of course, a picnic lunch on the train.
